I have friends nga super serious nga they would collect each kind of bill with different overprints, sometimes if chada ang serial numbers (radar, ladder or replacement etc..) Usahay ma ulaw pod ta itapad ato collection kay murag layo ra kaayo hehehe. Glad you liked Dumaguete, na timingan ka bason naay away si Pacquiao atong time-a kay wala kaayoy snatcher sa imo lugar heheh.

oh wow. . I still have this sa among house sa Davao. . . I used to play this when I was in elementary. but dili siya 80's na POG. I acquired it in years 2000-2004. When I was in my elementary days naay booth ang Coca-Cola sa among school and if mupalit ka ug coke, you have a chance to win coca-cola POG federation shirts, Coca-cola bags and ang consolation prize kay POG.

One of the lots I bought included these pogs. These are official World Pog Federation Series 2 Pogs. Im missing 6 pcs out of 60. I was only intending to get mga coke related pogs lang pero sayang man pod gud ni, if I do complete this I guess I will get it framed and hang it on a wall. Heheheh (So PM me if naa mo ing ani )


I dont know if I have all the designs for the coke pogs yet (so again, if you have some that is not in the pic above, PM me and we'll work out a deal). The more I try to research about the coke pog series the more I am finding about the lack of official news for it. I know the designs for these pogs exist already in the other World Pog Federation Series and are just slapped with the Coke logo or a unique motto. I also know these design was only released here in the Philippines and a couple other nations in southeast asia. Avid coca cola lovers usually have databases detailing every marketing item released by Coke, and the pogs above dont show up in any American datafiles or collection catalogs. Its my theory that the Coke Pog Panalo marketing campaign was only a local marketing ad and wasnt officially approved by the mother company. That makes these little circular pieces of history even more important and valuable to our Filipino culture. I hope the love for our past would implore more people to dig into their basements and storages and discover for themselves the unique treasures of our history.
