Game saves unlock headgear in GRAW 2

With the release of GRAW 2 this week those quick purchasers over at VideoGame News unearthed a few unlockable headgear items. What's interesting about these pieces of headgear is that they are only unlockable if you've previously played other Tom Clancy games on your Xbox 360. To unlock them, GRAW 2 will search your hard drive for game saves of either Rainbow Six: Vegas or Splinter Cell: Double Agent and unlock the corresponding headgear. It's kind of an interesting way to unlock goodies, but forces players to either borrow the other games or purchase them. Marketing 101 for the win! So, what do you think about this interesting way of unlocking extra items? Is it innovative or just pure sales and marketing bologna?

^^Oh that's just bollocks right there. Nothing innovative bout it at all. You should be able to unlock the item also by achieving something in the game.

Yep...nothing innovative, Singler Player Campaign is..well..interesting. I cant seem to grasp the MP in this game; The characters appears to have Skates on their boots; they just glide on the ground. I guess I was too spoiled & @ home w/ the controls, gameplay & interface of Rainbow 6: Vegas & Gears of War.

But the greatest improvement on this game is the A.I. of your Troops. They are no longer seriously dumb & clueless as the 1st one. Maybe I could try the PC version. I need feedback for those who have the PC version.

Man this sucks, it's too damn expensive to upgrade my PC for future games and I could just barely play new games like this because of the requirements.
I'm better off owning an X360 than upgrading my PC. *sigh* I need to start saving some money. lol

Anyway, awesome game though. I've been digging around about this game.
