Just an Idea, it might be the hard drive...had a similar issue when my HD was about to give up...esp the Hitachi HDs that some laptops come with

UPDATE:

Tried to reformat it again ganina with Win 7..... I tried wat siopao said on the Sata Controllers, still same gihapon.... so ni suway ko na ireformat in Safe Mode.... mas arang2x iya outcome... Naka lahos ang reformat up to sa updating sa registry and other features.... then ning sugod nasad xa ug balik2x ug crash sa may "Completing Installation" dapit....

Ug ako i reboot (even with the OS DVD naa sa drive), then di ko mu sud sa windows setup... mo startup xag win 7 then mo crash napd after mo gawas ang Windows logo.... Ako sad gi try ug Repair using the DVD na naa OS mao ni ang resulta...
