Without Assad the Christian community in Syria, like its neighbors whos former secular regimes were replaced by fundamentalists were displaced like in neighboring Lebanon, Iraq etc.. Though there are exceptions, these events are ground for opportunities for less religious freedom in the region. Arab Spring is giving Christians in the Middle East a difficult time. What Syrian Christians get out of the Assad government is religious liberty, a place in the country and their lives. Dictatorships evil it may seem are not the worse that can happen.

I just don't believe that the Christian will lose their freedom... in egypt they are fighting for equality for all egypt as well as Libya... that is wrong thinking and assumptions of other people... that matter here is FREEDOM if you have no freedom HOW CAN YOU HAVE RELIGIOUS FREEDOM? or else it is a fake freedom same as other people brainwash by Kim Jong Ill and Kimg Jong Un... one more thing we must also focus on human rights... remember that the true Christian fight for it... even so that it happens that the muslim unite together against Christians still God will save His people cause it is prophecies and i believe He will use good Nations to protect His People.

Assad is not Kim Jong Il, you should know the difference of these countries. SUre they're branded as "dictators" but they're far from being the same. As for Egypt? Christians in Egypt live in the country's landfill. Now Mubarak is out, lets hope those coptic Christians have a place to live at all. I believe you have trouble identifying enlightened absolutism with totalitarianism. These are not friendly governments, but you have to choose the lesser of two evils. Carrying the banner of democracy does not count. Oppressors can easily use 'freedom and democracy' for their agendas.

One more thing we must also focus on human rights... remember that the true Christian fight for it... even so that it happens that the muslim unite together against Christians still God will save His people cause it is prophecies and i believe He will use good Nations to protect His People.

Fight for human rights? Did Jesus fight to stop Himself from being crucified? Did Peter and Paul insight violence and revolution against the Roman empire to stop sending Christians to their deaths? Nowhere in the NT have I read these things. The only portion in the Bible I read where Christians should arm themselves were against wild animals and robbers they met in their journeys. Lastly, Muslims generally (except for the radical fundamentalists) respect Christians, they're what they call 'people from the Book'. Also, Muslims can never unite with each other. THey can't even unite against Israel during the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War. Lastly, there are no 'good nations' especially if you're a Christian. The World system despises you, you will be hated by the world and they will continue to do so until the last days.

He is no different to Kim Jong Il they are both evil dictators killing and torturing innocent people… even though there politicians using equality to other religion they still corrupt and the people still will decide whether a president must go… and I believe that God put and remove a bad leader time by time… they must learn from the west and to democratic nations they are truly live in equality and that the people has voice… maybe you’re a fan of assad why you still support him, the murderer of innocent people and children.

Jesus is crucifixion is different to our situation… Christ died for humanity according to prophecy and people will not die again to save their soul… not all were written in the Bible but the history shows that it happens by the power of God all Christians were freed and given power in rome… the Bible is clear and that extreme racist and extreme cults continue to attack true Christians preaching for the truth and right… because they don’t understand the Word and will of the Lord… and this people need the Lord to be freed from their blindness… there are good and bad muslims, and that even muslim has the right to be save and to live with freedom and with right as others have… in the end Christ will rule with the believers with just judgment and the evil rule will fall.
