How come nobody suggested that the TS use an i7 proc? Overkill raba jud ang i7? Now such thing as an overkill for me when it comes to rendering.

i7 is the best for rendering.. the more the core/threads the faster the render. more rams equals more capable of taking up complex model.

The problem is the budget of the TS... But for me it's much better to power up the gpu and memory than your cpu so i5 is good enough.

totally agree. We are working with the budget given by the TS. If the budget went up to like say 15k, then an i7 would definitely be possible
