yeah, infact, the INS put Technocrest in the watch list, coz they keep on bringing people into the US without clear and present job positions, they're more into the petitioning business. infact, there's a lot of Tourist Visa holders here who doesn't wanna go back to the PH and find some under-the-table job to have the money and let Technocrest petition them.
Well, the company is legit, so they can always bring people in, but jobs, even the guys who work in there switched to caregiving; but still good enough, as long as you're here. Dollar pa rin.

luoya gud ana. my cousin in cali recommended me this company. maygani I decided to ask around first. anyway, daghan man mangingilad na pinoy in the US. It's very disappointing but ana naman gyud batasan sa pinoy.
naa sad d ay ingon ani sa computer programmers noh?? sa amo kay healthcrest sad to na company and same thing...around $4000 ila pangayuon and yes makapalarga jud sila but wala lagi ka employer sa US...karon wala nasad sila kay watch list nasad sa INS...naa gihapon CREST na word...hehe

OT lang .... I've got a 10yr multiple entry tourist visa sa US, don't have an H1 visa though, pero what are the odds of landing a job there?
I was offered a software dev. job a year ago in Chicago (they sponsor H1B) through direct hiring, pero I turned it down coz I still have a contract with my present employer. What's the usual process man para maka work diha, given naa na ka tourist visa?
lisod man guro if mo apply ka job didto then tourist visa lang imoha.
my friend has a tourist visa, he applied for a java senior developer in st. louis,
but during the interview he was asked if he is a green card holder coz they wont
provide working visa. sayang kadto lang ang naka sangit sa iyaha.
kadto unta g offer sa imoha nindot na unta to sya, sayang kaau to.
i know two guys nga nag-technocrest. nakalarga man sila dayon sa US. pero nigasto gyud sila ug dako.
Originally Posted by loki_fab

Same ra ni sa akoa bai. As long as you have an employer willing mo sponsor nimo, then their lawyer will file an H-1B petition for you but the downside of H-1B is that it has a cap and it will be raffled, so if di ka ma-apil, balik gyud ka sa cebu.Originally Posted by kolz
Dude, the only way for you to work legally here in the US is that you must have a working visa which is H1B.. if you plan come here using your B1 visa that's fine but if you will start working here even you are waiting for your H1B to be approved it's not advisable because literally it is illegal.Originally Posted by kolz
What I can suggest to your situation is go ahead and sign up with your Chicago employer to sponsor your H1B visa now (it will take 1 year of waiting anyway) of course they know that it will take that long and then the cap this year is expected to have another lottery so you still have 50-50% chances until you are confirmed with USCIS papers... also while waiting for your current employer contract to complete unless you did sign up for 2year contract.
