Join mo Aikido maski asa nga affiliation. Just join one. Join the club where you have more friends. The one with a convinient schedule and dili kaayo mahal. Aikido should not be a business.
In Cebu the main Senseis are :
Max Tian - Ki Society .
Allan Tan - Aikikai
Ernie Sanchez -Aikikai
Romy -Musubi?
Ernie Bout -Aikikai?
Paul -Ki Society

Incidentally I think all of these instructors started with Max Tian Sensei. Maayo na silang tanan. Lain-lain style of teaching pero lain lain man sad and imong pag -absorb ug katun sa estudyante.
Hombu- means Headquarters or main office. So Hombu Dojo -Means main practice place. Aikikai is the affiliation or style that is headed by the Third Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba the grandson of the founder.
Ki Society also has a Hombu Dojo. Ki Society is headed by Koichi Tohei a former chief instructor of Aikikai and the only 10th dan awarded by the founder before he passed away.

bai red_colt, it doesn't matter which dojo you practice in. as long as you are comfortable with the people and with the style. as you probably already know the different dojo's have differences in terms of the aikido flavor (hard or soft).

so, where do u intend to practice?

I don't know Judge Renduque but I know Judge Paredes who is Ki Society Affiliated.

mao bitaw bai nangotana ko kung asa man jud? d man sad pwede testingan nako tanan para lng makita kung asa comfortable ang pipol ug ang style. ask lng ko suggestions. ug kanang ang teacher man ginaconsider nako, dili ang mga makauban nako na tawo or ang style. sa teacher man jud ko makatuon. so naa ka mau na suggestion before ko apil?
