...yes, i'm proud to be called a hacker kay dili man mi black hacker nag mo aim ug money ug uban pa, but we are a grey hacker, in short we are ethical hacker nga nag-trabaho sa usa Company na naka-focus sa security. Mao na dili mi mahadlok na mo-publish mi sa internet, besides wall sad mi nag-binuang, our intention is practically good and business.

...back to the topic, data cannot easily be traced rather than voice, yet depends on how would you clean up your mess...

    not easy but possible...really possible.

scenario 1: email message. origin ip can be traced by getting it from the email header both on email clients and webmail (depends on provider).

scenario 2: message boards. admins and higher ranks can easily get the poster's ip address. my ip can even be displayed on this very message by the forum admin.

once ip address is secured, one can use 3rd party ip lookups and determine its origin. although most of the times, it displays the ISPs location and not the actual user's location, if the government demands for it, they can get details from the provider about the owner of the ip. however, most residential accounts provide dynamic ip, so one can easily say "it wasn't me".

...that if you are using your company's email address or you are using your own personal email address, but, what if i create a bugos email address and reverse engineer the header of my email details, how could you be able to trace me up? ...i did many things on that by sending spam, you cannot stop the spam and so the sender yet...

...what if i hooked-in to the public wifi connection such as free wifi from somewhere? yet can you trace me?

they can only look the origin but not a specific user, did I get it right? So, yet how can you trace it? there would be lots of arguement on this, thousands, millions of hacker would take advantage on your area if you don't secure it. As being an CEH, AAA would be your companion and encrypt your network if it is beign exposed to the public. MAC would be you target not the ipaddress... just remember that! That's my CLUE DUDE... so take advantage of my clue... I am a mute guy... heheeheh still a mute guy.... hehehehe

...i've read a lot of articles on how to trace but no one can determine not unless if you are obvious.

Don't make it sound so shining shimmery because you know what a mac address is. Your argument is out of hand and absolutely not answering the thread starter's question. Clearly he was asking if it's possible for him to be traced, he did not ask for any tips to EVADE which is what you illustrated in your post above. :P

...I already answered, you could not be traced at the data, because, almost everyone knows how to hide therselves, however, you can be traced if you were at the voice, no one knows yet how to clean up ther mess.

...besides, wala sad ko nag-hambog, ako lang na gi-sulti ang pag-evade arun they are aware sa mga butang SA MGA TAO NGA WALA PA ALAM, besides, dili na para imo ang tips but para ila. Just helping them to mitigate.
