they said it all.
Higher tension mean more control but heavy on your arms/shoulders. Just experiment and feel what's the right tension for you.
For rackets, there are two variants: Even Balance and Head/Top Heavy. Even balance is usually for defense while Top or Head for offensive player. But dont take this as absolute since you can also attack forcefully even though you have an even balance racket. What I mean is that you can smash harder with the top heavy racket than an even balance one. Discover your type of play and get the racket that would compliment it.
For me i'd get both type. Wala lang. Ganahan lang. Bitaw, there are times that you one would like to use one racket over the other in a certain game.
--- no flaming on my info ha... i say again type of racket is not absolute. It's the manufacturer that specify the intended user of their rackets.
thanks for the info...
Yes indeed thanks for the info

Anyone there who tried the Prince Y-Joint frame? I've seen models now at 1,700pesos in Toby's. How is it?
Now I saw one racket (can't remember brand) that claimed that it has the largest sweet spot? Anybody care to elaborate and rate a racket like that?
wilson nga brand bro naa man pud.. nindot pud cguro na ug quality sa name lang niya daan..
In badminton, its 50% skills 50% equipments! To-o nalang m para madali. I got Prince, Yonex and Carlton rakets. it really depends on you kung asa ka hiyang ba. My Prince raket has a tension of 26, Yonex - tension 25 titanium BG65, Carlton - tension 26 too. In my 3 years of playing badminton, i love using my Prince raket.try it!
Salamat rick! There maybe some people who might disagree coz they say it is more skill than the equipment.Originally Posted by rickmags2000
Nakabasa pud sad ako nga ang shoes is a personal equipment factor usually ignored but plays a role. Aside pa ana, the court- your environment tests your stamina.
Pero given your review, i'm thinking of getting a Prince soon..... Thanks, man!
