Nikon 35mm f1.8G
based on experience first na.acquire nako ang
nikkor 35mm 1.8G (mau ra jd ako lens) then later on ng.upgrade kg tamron 17-50.
status: way mahay. but mgplan ko mpalit 35mm balik puhon..
nka gamit ko sa tamron 17-50mm and nikor 35mm 1.8...sharpness patas2x ra jd..nice ang tamron f goodlight very sharp, good for videos sad..ofcourse prime wud b d best bt for versatility and for me tamron 17-50mm..good for walk around lens.landscape to portrait...

Alright, enough now on the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 vs Nikon 35mm f1.8G.
Now in dilemma for: Nikon 35mm f1.8G vs Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX DC HSM
Sigma,
1. wider focal range
2. faster aperture
3. bokeh
Nikon,
1. build quality
2. bokeh
3. cheaper

murag wala may AF-D version ang 35mm 1.8, perhaps ur referring to 35mm F2 AF-D, which is the FF lens. 35mm 1.8G is the DX lens.
regarding ur Sigma 30mm, make sure lang that it has no compatibility issues with ur current cam. ive heard and read that some Sigma's need to be calibrated to properly function with the cam body.
one more thing, since ul be getting the Tammy first and as u stated, ul be using it for pre-nups and studio shots, maybe an 85mm would be better on the controlled environment.. and it will not be redundant with the Tammy's focal length.

The 5mm difference is not much really and the .4 on the aperture is very subtle but you wouldn't notice it. Just go for the 35mm f1.8 but if your upgrading to a FF go for the 35mm f1.4 or yet if you can spend more go for the Zeiss 35mm f1.4 which ridiculously great lens.
