id look for a rent to own

remember TS, life takes unexpected turns. yeah, you can a buy a house, but for me lang, its better if naa jud ka enough cash to cover for unforeseen situations.
depende sa sitwasyon ug sa income, much better jud ang house pra nko kapoi cgeg abang
thank you for your inputs.
i am currently more inclined to continue renting until i have enough savings. i intend to prioritize my savings for insurances in case of unforeseen events, better, if not the best, education for my kids, and do other investments that will allow me to earn additional income so i can use this to eventually buy the house. however it may take another 5 years or even more since the materials are also getting more expensive, and by then my priorities may have changed already. this was the same dilemma i had 5 years ago. i had to save enough money for the house, and i actually did achieve it. but there were a lot of changes since then which unfortunately does not allow me to easily make the decision. i'm in a crossroad now whether to wait another 5 years or get a loan to starting living my dream.
let's put it this way. my rent is rather cheap. the house will cost maybe around 300 times my rent. assuming no increases nor inflation, i can just rent for the next 25 years and spend the money for other more important things and enjoy life. or i can buy a house but live conservatively to save enough funds for emergencies.
not sure if there is a right or wrong answer for this. for me it is wiser to rent, but some of my friends do not agree with me. so which is which for you guys?![]()

buy a house![]()
well, lucky me i dont have to rent but still i want to buy a new house![]()
go ko sa maka own house oi! like karn sayangan ko ni separate kos akong parents nag rent ko house nia wala ra japon dili ma ako.a mas better jud to mo loan nalang for house oi. After 25 yrs ma himua man sad ang house.
better start saving while still single, by the time you settle with a family at least you have something to fall back on kadtong lage imong tinigum then pay for the equity labina naa sad work imo kapikas sa kinabuhi unya nagtigum sad ei di gamay nalang pun-an naa namu balay instead mag honeymooning sa layong dapita sa balay nalang 24/7, solve na maka save pa!,lol
if gagmay pa imong kids ts pwede ra sad ka palit daan ug house.we've been renting an apartment for 2 yrs @ 6,500 monthly.hinay hinay pa man gud mi save for the equity if ever mag rent to own mi.until we had the opportunity to buy a house at a lower price.although pag ibig loan sya at least 5,700 ra among monthly.pero depende ra ts kay basin nindot gyud kaau ang house ang imong gusto pwede ra sad magtigom sa ka.
