since its a 4 week tourney...maybe you should add 4 different games.... tekken, sf4 or mvc3, blazblue and maybe throw in a classic fighting game like mk2.

i guess maybe you can do it using some sort of points system and the final saturday have the 4 people with the most points play against each other... but since time maybe a factor...not sure how it would pan out

I could only accommodate 1 Game as of now. Maybe I could held the other Games on other months.

I'll take note of your suggestion regarding the point system.

The Proposed time is during Wednesdays is 10am-12noon, 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Since its Summertime all the students could join. Then the ones that are working could still join after work hours. Call Center Agents could still join the morning schedule or the 7PM-9PM Schedule. This is under study only. I need your suggestions also.

I'd vote for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Blazblue(the new version of this is coming out soon).

also, about the controller to be used. Some people such as myself are not familiar with using an arcade stick and are only familiar with using a pad(PS3 dualshock in my case). I was wondering if it's alright for some people to bring and use their own controllers for this?

The controller to be used is Arcade Stick. Since this is like a Tournament using an Arcade machine like in Time Zone and Bibo. Sorry you can't bring your own controller. Just practice using Arcade Stick. Ty
