Salamat kaayo'g dako mga higala. Nag download ko'g Malwarebytes then nakit-an sa program nga naay "update.exe" nga file. Trojan daw. Gi delete sa program then karon, akong gi reformat tanang USB thumb drives nako including my phones SD card. Karon, okay na. Dili na application files (.exe) ang mga supposedly folders sa akong mga thumbdrives ug SD card sa phone. Mopalit nya ko anang ESET or Kaspersky. So dili diay tanang AV programs makatangtang ug virus bisag Norton. Salamat again!

Thats a virus, dili lng jud maka detect ang imo antivirus, medyo lisud na kaayo ma remove, kay daghan na infect files sa OS ana if wala ka plano mo palit ug medyo mahal na antivirus, try fresh intall nalng imo os, tried before na infected ako usb, trojan na siya iya buhaton iya ehide ang original files(folder) then create a fake folder that is a EXE, usahay dili jud makita ang filder bisan imo pa show hidden folder sa settings, if you use UBUNTU linux nga os kita man tanan imo files then imo ra ma unhide dayon, using dual boot man gud...
Usually ani nga nga problem wala ray problema sa files in the USB naka hide ra, infected jud ana ang imo PC...

experienced same thing before.. ang ending kay ako nalang gi reformat ang PC.

combofix.exe + avira 2012 free

the virus hides the orig folders then shows the folders name copy with .exe extension


the unhide software ( < google ) or even the dos comman attrib attrib -r -a -s -h *.* can handle that

Yeah, na-try na jud na nako ang combofix, TS. It saved me many times already both in my office PC and at home. Be sure to backup your registry ahead before using combofix.

I think butitoy can also attest to its effectivity since he is also suggesting combofix.
