I know this is an old thread but I didn't wanna make another thread na same rag topic. Ask lang ko why gamay ra mga cockatiel hobbyists diri. I wanna own one and I wanna ask the ff:

1. Asa nindot palitan ug chick pa?
2. How much would the maintenance be?
3. What do I initially need to start?

I've read articles about taking care of one pero mas nindot jud kung naay mga inputs gikan sa mga hobbyists diri kay based on experience jud ba. I hope naay makahelp nako. Really want one jud. Salamat sa mga mureply ug tinarong.

3. Read about handfeeding cockatiel chick. mokaon ra ba na og dakong time nimo, samot na if piso pa imong kuhaon..ang 1 -4 days old kay every 2 hrs pakaon ana..pero nindot na edad kuhaon nimo is around 10-14 days old, naa nay pinfeathers and sugod na open ila eyes. every 4 hours pa pakaon ana or every 5 hrs, ma check ra na nimo if empty ila crop. if you have that much time, then go get a cocktiel chick and tame it

Thanks Sir @neshem! Yeah ready nako and excited para sa akong baby tiel from you...wahahah! I'm educating myself about the do's and don'ts, how to know if sick ba sya or not, iyang proper nutrition sad and how to tame and train. Praying na I'd get a male tiel jud sir...as in! Sige kog ingon sa akong self na male pls male male male let it be a male...hahah! I wanna hear him sing songs, whistle tunes and talk man gud. If female, I'll love her just as much medyo ma-sad na she won't be talkative but I'm sure I'll get over that. Eggzoited nako! >.<
