basta ang ako lang jud ikasulti to all my fellows (ECEs) out there, don't expect too much maski pag licensed ka kay depende ra jud na sa timing nimo kung naa jud ga hiring og depende pud na sa mag interview...

kung fresh grad ka, daku kaayo nga factor ang school og ang imong transcript... actual sample, ako, tga USC-TC ko, i've been working for 9 years now (mag 3 years sa recent company and the best so far)... unya, naa koy kauban nga fresh grad siya when he joined in for this company, gikan DLSU siya... imagina, parehas2x ramig sweldo, and it took me 9 years to get to this point but siya fresh grad pa?!

mao nay ingon nako nga swerte2x!

Ayaw kabalaka, dghan pa pud Engineers nga nangaply karun bro..naa ra gyud na sa diskarte pagtubag during interview..Of course, need gyud nimu pasarun ang exam sad( make sure nga maapil ka sa top 10% nga ngtake ug exam,in short kng mperfect mas maau, from that dha mgselect for interview ang company)..

As the previous post said, ayaw lng pg-expect nga taas2x imo first nga sweldo..range from 13K-20K, maybe safe enough sa MEPZ zone companies..for IT park companies, maybe you can tell higher than that if you are ask to but it depends on the company you applied...

if naa nka naapplyan, make sure u learned to da the best sa imo mkaya arun mhimo ka nga asset sa company..in that sense,im sure your effort will be paid(increase to da max if kaya sa company ky lakgun naman ka)..or if you feel nga murag dli na bagay ang swldo para sa imo, dha nka mtake ug next step(to other companies much higher than present)..

hehe..kasagara ra ba pud sa wala gyud maapplyan bro ky tendency mo-apply ug call center, do have friends also ECE grad nga naa sa call center..it depends sa imo bro..im sure kuha gyud ka kng maau lng ka sa imo interview(english paka bah)..

    another 50 cent from me.

Sa kadaghang ECEs, gamay rajud makakuha ug trabaho related sa electronics labi na electronic design, etc.
Kung mu apply mo sa gawas, bale wala ra na ang license kay mahug technician ra ang level.

Maypa ngita jud fallback position like sud mo IT, kuha ug certifications from cisco, microsoft, etc. Or kung plano mo mugawas jud, mas maayo pa na mukuha mo mga trade skills gikan tesda (electrical, electronics, automotive...).

    1. Instrumentation Engineering
    2. SCADA /DCS/HMI
    3. other ECE/CompE/IT related courses
    4. Safety Engineering / Safety Officer

Sa MEPZA daghan hiring dinha sa ECE, nindot pang experience pero mag start jud ka sa gamay sweldo unlike if sa IT park ka mag work dako2x ug starting pero dili kaayo nimo ma fully utilize imong career as an Electronics Engineer.

Good luck and happy job hunting!
boss ECE ko but nadugay kog work sa etel as tech support sa Dell.. mga 5 years pud. bag.o lang ko resign ky plano ko mugawas, ganahan ta ko skwela ug short term courses... asa ko pwede mus skwela instrumentation? safety engineering or SCADA/DCS/HMI? thanks daan bro..
