Ive been to dumaguete naman, Ive lived there for a year pero I was still on 3rd grade mao wala najud ko idea on how to get there. I sure do miss that place!

For our stay, Im torn between Harolds Mansion and Hotel Palwa. Asa ka mas mu prefer?

I will surely have a nice trip and see you at the blvd.!

@tophat: About sa travel time, I agree. I guess depende na jud na sa driver. Our trip from North Bus to Santander was 3 hours ra, surprisingly short. Got on a bus at 7:30, arrived at Lilo-an around 10:30. I was expecting it to be a long ride pero okay ra man diay.

yes maam, depende sa driver. pero it is company policy gyud nila. naa gyud na specific alloted time ang usa ka route. if ang driver dili maka meet ana, he will be subjected to reprimand then suspension or reassignment.

sa una, kana Liloan-Cebu, ang naka assign ana nga mudawat sa 7am fastrcraft from Sibulan ang Bus no 815. Grabe ka hinay ang driver. Wa nagdugay, gitangtang gyud.

kana direct Cebu-Dumaguete, ayaw ka surprise sa 3hrs kay mao gyud na ang normal travel time. Mailhan nimo if kaskasero ang driver kay he will make it less than 3 hrs.

The way via Liloan port is faster by about 1 hour compared to the route via Bato-Tampi. Pero if first timer, or kung daghan ka karga, the 770-775 series nga direct is less hassle.

Kabalo ka, mag daganay gyud na ang mga pasahero sa fastcraft kay mag-ilog ug nice seating sa bus nga nag paabot sa Liloan Port.

I think mas layu ang Harold's mansion sa Boulevard sis. We passed through kaisa, twa's nice. Murag daghan backpackers na foreigner the time we passed by.

there is a new barge service from Liloan Port direct to Sibulan, takes about 30 mins crossing time.

Upon boarding, ask for a promo rate, ingna lang nga mubalik mo sa return trip. The last time we crossed, murag 200 ang motor, maka save mo sa promo return rate. free man tingali ang two passengers sa motor.. dili ko sure..

Yes, daghan na mga Istoryans nag group tour nga nag motor lang.

harold's to boulevard is 18 minutes walk...

hotel palwa is 14 minutes...yes..mas layo ang harolds....hahahaha

Ganahan pud ko sa Hotel Nicanor since for 1050php lang ang matrimonial room. Wala lang siyay free breakfast.

One con lang nako sa Hotel Palwa is that it has a lodge feel. Judging from the pictures. Thats why na hesitant ko.
