How i wish us Filipinos were a little more inquisitive about the real history of our nation and its leaders and not rely on media as this has led us to where we are now. We have such short memories and we have been exposed, purposely or not to 'showbiz' type of journalism even with the current event news. Sadly, it may take more than a generation to change all these and maybe even a bloody civil war for the citizens to realize what is really wrong with our country...

in a student view, the best way to change this is to start it within ourself and project it to our friends and so and so forth..

I actually thought 'student activism' was the right direction. I was one then. but the idealism (for most) stopped once students came into the real world and became one with the working class and priorities started to change with idealism taking a back seat. worse, plenty of the so-called 'activists' themselves became what they criticized most which was the bourgeoisie.

I'd still say education for the masses is the only way to prosperity coupled with leaders NOT like the ones we have now.

with regards to the video presentation and the thread topic, it is not difficult at all to believe it is true, specially if one reviews history and is not influenced by the biased media. I for one do not have any reason Not to believe it is true...
