depending where you bought this, it might be covered with warranty.
Most of the T Series model of lenovo comes with 3 years warranty.

yes .. all thinkpads have a 3 year warranty unfortunately this is a canadian version t500 with a special graphics card installed since i do CAD work. this laptop cant be serviced in asia pacific, as far as i know, ive brought this to all service centers here in cebu they said they cant get the parts for this to be fixed.
