How certain are you that lite on drives are made by sony, my sources tell me a different story..

Oh and did you know lite-on already closed its doors ?

sony combo drives are made my Aopen a sister company of ACER and also to other OEM like Lite-on(JVC)(which is also one of their department shutdown for losses i have two friends who transfer to other employer), silingan ra namo ila tig assemble na company (location ASPIRE PARK TAOYUAN) and we are living the same dormitory with their pinoy worker.. that was last year until we tranfer to our company compound dormitory...

Also BenQ produce DVDRW drives for SONY...
