@TS: web design, dreamweaver, css, html, adobe photoshop at indesign kung mao ne moha skills dghan au opportunities sa online ah. Suya au ko sa moha skills, you can earn more money online basta ngita lang jud og clients...
Pero you need to be very persistent kay kane homebased makatapolan mn gud ka ane kay makakwarta ka karon rest ka ugma for the next days, etc.
You will be earning with your skills around $500-$1,000 per month, if this sounds good to you better start looking for clients
regarding night shift, mas preferable ne sa homebased kay moha clients kasagaran taga US man gud so indot jud communicate ka nila when it's morning sa ilaha at least if naay mga issues, changes sa project ma edit daun nimo.
I do suggest, have a blog (like blogger.com) ibutang didto moha portfolio, then suwat2x sad ginagmay, after that start signing up for freelance sites. Remember, unaha sa og butang sa portfolio sa blog free raman pud ne, then beautify your resume put on some skills...
To learn more about homebased jobs I created a thread years ago: https://www.istorya.net/forums/career...rning-big.html
my skills in server side scripting is not that good, need to work on it a bit more. sa css side, still has a lot to learn pa rin. since i got into call center man gud, nakalimtan na nako ang akong uban nga skills, kay nagtoo ko na mao na lang jud kay wala opportunity na lain.
i forgot to add, TS.....................that makes 2 of us....very happy i'm out of the call center....
sadly, night lang gihapon....but the insults, berating, name-calling are out.......![]()
@kit_cebu: thanks bro. yep, those days are now in our rear view. naa thread diri na odesk, ako na i-check. wala pa nako hinuon ma-verify akoang paypal.
^suggest lang ko....take lang refresher courses sa mga programs....ako kaila, though not the same as your specialties, is earning a good amount....20k+++....and goddamned tax-free....whew! odesk....
@snowleopard: mayta la pa ka ne quit sa moha job TS while you are trying to look for another opportunity. I am afraid basin 1 month nya ka no income ba lisud na panahon ka ron, kung la kay gibuhi okay ra pd.
Suya ko sa moha skills jud dgko jud kaayo kwarta diha ang moha buhaton ngita og clients and build up your portfolio in months or a year's time you will be earning more what you are earning when you are working at a call center.
Always be satisfied with the money earned.
If you are not happy and the money you earn from your previous job, then better find a job where you will be contented and if better, happy.
Were more on the same field na design2x, Im an architect but found joy in designing furnitures and its already a norm for me working on stuffs until dawn but it makes me happy and I spend weekends on relaxation and never mix work with it.
I suggest dont just rely your income on your portfolio alone as a starter, its really a challenge for a designer in any field to establish a name, if mag lisud ka kay naa kay gi suportaan or pang gasto sa imong kaugalingon, e sideline lang sa and gradual man jud ang process ana. If you have even just one client impress and make him happy for he/she may refer you to more clients in the future.
