Depends on the fans. The rheubus extreme for instance does 30w/channel which is useful for high powered fans.

Looked at the Scythe link, it looks nice. Be aware lang na dako kaayo siya kaon ug power. One fan lang is 13.68 watts to power. At 4 fans in parallel, you would need a 54.72 watt per channel fan controller assuming you want it in a single channel. For 8 fans in push + pull, you would need 109.44 watts and i dont know of any fan controller than has that much wattage per channel.

Also, when using a fan controller, nindot sad if imong fans kay maayo mo undervolt. naay mga fans dili maayo mo undervolt meaning na if you turn the voltage lower (sa fan controller) like mga 5 volts for instance kay you want it to run on low speed, dili sila (ang fans) mo trabaho.

@joms: what fans are you currently using diay? what's your setup? how's you cpu temps? is the cpu & gpu on the same loop or parallel?
