if ang price sa imong mobo ug procie mka compete sa i5 2nd gen because for sure mahalon gyud imong mobo. then better get intel. additional info would be power consumption and better performance.

i suggest get i5-2300 or 2400 price range would be 8.2k-8.4k
then the mobo is a choice of your own.

@Koikoi: I don't suggest getting Phenom II X4 although its better than the first phenom version but to tell you honestly its a CRAP! its no match versus the i3/i5 next generation. I was w/ AMD for sooo long years since birth but I found nothing but headache.

Get INTEL instead AMD for better. Games and Apps you will never go wrong.

If you really prefer AMD it's ok but try to think that that processor will be phased out in a few months or so and you will start having upgrade itches.....
