i read the article bro.. i didn't quite see any part adto which refers to the downclocking.. pero that was really helpful pud.. nakasabot na ko bahin sa mga ram.. unsa man nako pag-downclock sa usa? i think this is because 256 MB ang usa nako ka ram and 512 MB ag 2nd.. unsaun pag-down clock bro?

@redfox775, it says in the article pud an ddr400 refers to pc3200.. my current mobo uses ddr266 or pc2100.. the article says that ddr400 is backwards compatible with the pc2100.. but it would run in the slower frequency that may be equal to that of the pc2100.. sakto ba? so my question is, you earlier stated na magka-problem gihapon ko, so even if backwards compatible xa, it's still not safe to use a ddr400?

Kasagaran DDR1 kay mo work ra man bisag lahi2x freq... ang mahitabo ana, did2 jud na sya mudagan sa slower speed...

Those numbers represent the serial presence detect and NOT the clocks on the different slots.

TS you dont need to manually downclock them. They will automatically run @ lower SPD common to both. No need to worry.

@keropi mao ba bro?serial presence detects?dili mana nimu ma manual over clock ang ram kay mo auto down clock rana sya sa akong pagkasabot the system automatically adjust to each operational state when 2 different frequency na ram,taud taud na sad ko nag repair og PC mostly nasugatan nako basta dili pareha ug frequency naa jud sya problema,in some instance dili dayun nimu mabantayan..anyway technicians do have different techniques on how to approach and resolve problems i didn't claim na mao jud ni akoa insakto i'm just basing it on my personal encounter..technically speaking dapat pareha jud cya imu itaud just like the other recommendations,to eliminate further problems.

@explode, lisud ipangita ug used na ngana man gud.. i've been searching jud.. mahalan ra ko if brand new.. adto nalang ko sa DDR400 na 1 GB.. 2 pa kabuok.. hehe..
