    towerblo,
No re-flashing done, coz it was a hardware issue, though the guys from Samsung repair are every much willing to help you out with your ROM concerns, actually they were the ones who helped me with my initial gingerbread update. Frankly, I have had enough with Sony products, had 2 Vaio's (SZ and SR) were I got the battery draining issue, they were very unaccommodating, uncomforting and to top it all, they were so mechanical in solving the issue, like as if they were just reading an FAQ docu. Also batteries, are considered consumables w/ Sony, the moment you start using it, (Day 1), its already a full consumable item, no warranty, and their batteries are so expensive..

    Predo,
Yup, all you have to do is present your original receipt. Btw, the single line in your LCD is an example of a dead pixel, tendency is it can grow wider, like what happened to my unit, a week after, it grew wider.. Better have it replaced under warranty, it will take only 3 days for the replacement waiting period or max 5 days and less than an hour to replace it.. After which your S will look like brand new.. H
