Its not only with credit cards, also with DEBIT cards/Cash Cards. They handle them like they are credit cards. If that happen to you, that they do not give you the cash price if you pay with a DEBIT card, like Visa Electron, just call your bank and complain, they will take care of that (I did that already).

yep, same thing happen to me in metro ayala. debit card is like paying in cash
