That is quite a reason there. Keep your card, play your games instead of listening to what others say. Usa pa pag-upgrade if naka experience na ka personally, ug di naka makadula tungod ana.

maayong buntag mga taga istorya..i need your help guys on this..my mind is in the state of confusion...mao ni ako dakong problema... ako gamit na graphics card karun kay SAPPHIRE ATI 6970.. ako ni cya na gamit almost 3 months na.. nag plano ko mag ilis graphics card pero nag libog ko kung unsa ako pili.on... reason why mag ilis ko graphics card tungod sa CATALYST sa ATI na bati ingon nila..naa ko kaila nag update sa catalyst ang epekto na RMA nu.on iya 6870..dli ko ganahan matabo ni sa ako 6970.. dri ko naglibog:1. AKO ILISAN AKO 6970 TO GIGABYTE GTX 570 WINDFORCE?2. PABILIN KO GAMIT SA AKO 6970? 3. ASA NINDOT 6970 OR 570? (wla pa ko kasuway gamit NVIDIA cards)ako ra gamit sa graphics card is purely gaming..usahay try2x nako mga benchmark but i dont OC graphics card..PLEASE ADVICE..salamat ninyo...

First of all keep your card unless you can sell it at an almost good as brand new price. In benchmarks the 6970 and the GTX570 are equal but in real world usage the GTX570 a bit smoother, has better driver and developer support ( which ATI has been lacking for the last 6-10yrs?? ). The 6970 is touted to run cooler and as per werty more efficient in power which is true on paper but in practice 6970's over heat too much, generate a lot of noise ( due to the subpar cooling design and smaller diameter fan used ) which negates all if its positives on the heat/power and also VRM's are known to go bad on almost any ati card anytime since the HD4870 series. The GTX570 is not w/o flaws the entire reference design lacks 1 VRM and will also blow up even at stock speed + watercooling.

Drivers will not damage the card if its not overclocked, its usually the heat that kills the card more than the drivers. I have to agree sa "igon nila" ATI's drivers are pretty bad I've had my share with them from the HD4870 till the modern day cards. Other users are lucky and dont have issues with them.

Bottom line if your card is working keep it, if you can sell it for a close to brand new price then sell it but dont get the GTX570 either you down grade to a 560 or jump to the 580 which performs a lot better.

read feedbacks nalang before ka mo update sa drivers aron sure ka, kai lain sad kaau puro gubaon tanan drivers sa ati haha, ako gali panagsa raman ko mag update sa gfx drivers
