rite now our office has upgraded to windows vista. the UI seems to be very cool. nice graphics, seems to be user friendly (i have to get use to some features). been using it for almost 3 weeks pa. so i still am a fresh user. but the one thing i dont like about it is the hardware upgrade. too expensive for me... i think it requires a 64 bit processor plus at least 2 gig of ram.
i still cant find any bug... but i still am a fresh user. office 2007 is really different from what i am used to... but i didnt use it that much yet...
It willl run just fine on a 32bit processor. Minimum requirements for memory is just 512MB, but yeah... to get the most out of it and enjoy the fancy Aero interface...you really need at least 1GB of RAM or more.Originally Posted by randzg

what about driver support for old hardware? is it ok?
^^How old are we talking bout here? Vista does a good job of supporting some of the old ones, but to be sure.... run this Vista Upgrade Advisor tool from Microsoft.

vista will be released to consumer channel manufacturers for broad distribution starting at General Availability (GA) in January 2007.
