Why Call Center?

my question is out of curiosity, my aunt is paying my cousin's very expensive tuition and in the end of the day, call center ang bagsak, that's why im asking WHY?, this happens to anyone, not just my cousin, coz i ask him, well ingon niya... lingaw, daghan laag, daghan chicks, unya cool ka unya IN kay mao daw uso....

unsa man jud money?, culture? easy life?

im not against call center, but i never dare to apply one, why?, its not my line... besides if you are really good in what your doing... why call center?

if you want exciting job, why not take a seaman's job... now thats what i call exciting...

mag huwat jud ka nga naa opening hospital aron ma practice ang imo gi esweklahan? ang imo gi buhi... pwede kaha ingnan nga "huwat sa kai wala pako trabaho"
kaa ko mga kaila nga RN.. ni abot ug more than a year before naka kita ug trabaho nga related sa gi eswekalahan

@noy.juan. just imagine, tuition fee of a nursing course per sem is around 28k excluding the expensive books and other miscellaneous. YET the actual salary of a nurse in cebu is JUST a mere 7-8k per MONTH. OT's not paid, early ins too. and the communicable disease your patients might transmit to you is just too tragic to add on.lol

Other industries' qualifications is too high and strict, new graduates are always NOT accepted.

Seaman's job? NEVER. you are in the ocean like forever. The only good thing with that job is you can travel to different places. BUT boredom will kill me and im far from my family.

wala na jud choice pero ako mao ra ni ako makita nga sayon nga work kay wa pa baya koy degree.. kalooy nako.. hhehe.. pero majority jud sa mga nisud sa call center kay nagkinahanglan jud ug dako nga pay kay mao lagi nang naay gibuhi nga pamilya ug gisuportahan..

well, your cousin has his own reasons sad.. my husband, for one, worked at a call center company so we could have money for our baby.

and, even if you're excellent in your chosen field but still walay job opening, you still wouldn't get hired.

sa tinuod, after graduate ganahn ka maka tabang sa imo family nya imo family pd nag salig nimo..sige ka pang apply ug work pero wlaya opening sa imo course nya instead mag odd jobs ka why not adto ka callcenter nga dagko pa hatag nya daghan mga incentives ug secured ka pa, naa ka health insurance and transpo allowance. samtang nag wait pa ug opening diha lang sa sila kai at least dile sila liability sa house, naka tabang pa sila sa ila family. like what i did.. worked in a callcenter before kai newly grad ko ato nya ningkamot jud ko maka tabang sa ako pamilya. income was good and after 3 years naa na chance makapag abroad in line sa ako course, so ni abroad ko for 4 years. then after ni undang kai g kapoy nya sick. nag patambal sa pinas na pd for 1 year and while nag treat ko ng work ko agen sa callcenter para dile lang sige gawas ang kwarta.after fit to work ko balik ko dire sa abroad. so ang ako description sa callcenter kai liferaft. naa ra na diha to support sa imo needs just in cases nga unexpected events go along the way. dako bya na nga tabang ha. ayaw lang pa dala sa culture or trend. focus on your own life. dont bother sa uban kng unsa ila i sulti sa imo. basta ikaw marangal na trabaho ginagawa mo i applaud the agents sa mga callcenters kai i know how stressful inyo job and i thank the BPO companies that are investing in our country kai daghan jud kau mga tao inyo natabangan. ni gamay ang palamunin, at mga tamad sa pinas coz nag hatag mo chance nila maka work

Why work in a call center? Because it pays very well, and it offers tons of other benefits too.

There is indeed some stereotyping about this job, but it has the same principle with almost any other job: work hard, and we'll pay you in return. People flock to this industry to earn some keep while waiting for that one opportunity they truly want, such as landing that dream job abroad. Why not make wise use of the time while waiting? Granted, kapoy siya, yes. But as my mother said, bahala na ug gikapoy ka, pero at least naka-kwarta ka. Kesa gikapoy ka ug tambay sa balay, pero lagi, wala pud ka naka-punit ug kwarta.

I can say naa'y mga kiat nga agents, pero daghan man sad mga tarong nga agents; people who do not mind working their asses off to support themselves or their families. Okay kaayo ang mag work sa call center uy imbis nga mag tanga ra sa balay, becoming one more statistic to the forever rising rate of unemployment in the country.
