    Default Re: Anito.net - Simple ORM, open source ORM framework - Contributors wanted

    @yanong_banikanhon thanks for the interest..

    Project Status:
    Anito.net is still immature, well its only the result when I have nothing to do during lunch breaks. (haha)

    Further more anitos base architecture is designed to be extendable. To make it brief it will be provider dependent, meaning providers can be implemented depending on your database or data service.

    Currently what anito could do is basic insert, update, delete, select and some partial linq implementations.

    For now we are focusing on implementing most linq functionalities. I guess that would be the current road map. (haha)

    For future plans, using anitos provider dependency, I would want to make anito an ORM for nosql databases, by implementing providers maybe one of the following, Amazon SimpleDb, Cassandra (I did a prototype for this using thrift client, haven't uploaded it though), BigTable.. etc..

    @yanong_banikanhon, could you help?

    @nullpointer attribute based.

    which do you think is a better approach? I don't really like many xml files in doing development.

    However xml based have one advantage which I am sure of, it can be modified without rebuilding the assembly.

    @nullpointer, your help will be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Contributors could be one but not limited of the following;
    * Developer (specifically C#.net)
    * Editor (for documentation)
    * Tester (should also be a developer to test the framework)
    * Consultant
