Kami, we never celebrate monthsaries. Sometimes we even forget amo na diay anniversary (D man pod siya masuko) . But we love each other very much.

if celebrating an event each month is non significant to others but significant to some that is what we call personal preference.

so for me, if there are people who celebrate events monthly there's really no big deal. Not the end of the world. hehehe

haha.. guilty ko ani. me and my bf of almost 6 years na still celebrate "month-saries". although not as grand as we celebrate our anniversaries, these month dates give us an excuse to have fun and enjoy a mini celeb each month..

though some would say that this is not a grown-up thing, i think it could really be a nice reason for grown-ups (married or exclusively dating) to pick a day each month and celebrate "month-saries" (or whatever you prefer to call it) to reignite the passion of love (if you get my meaning).

we celebrate our birthdays *we call it birthdays instead of monthsaries* every 6th of the month. not lasting long and counting the months from when you've been a couple is completely irrelevant. me and my fiance celebrate our birthdays because it's fun to count the months that we've been together. it sounded like we've lasted longer when we count in months rather than in years. this april we will have our 60th birthday.^^
