@ all
thank you sa mga advices guys.
i already bought the linksys due to it is very compact compared to all other two brands which has a wider body. its non-blocking characteristic too.
by the way, i wonder why the CNET and Linksys claimed that their switches can reach 200mbps max where i know that standard max is 100mbps, hmmmm...![]()
yeah, china made na dyud mostly ang digital gadgets karon...... daginot kaayo...Originally Posted by dagget
boss chips,
200mbps bandwidth or full duplex bandwidth specs these mean, the actual speed which is 100mbps x 2(receive and transmit)... some switches 100mbps is shared by receive and transmit.. So that means dili 100 mbps ang full capacity sa switch which is obviously not better. Other switch 4.8Gbps ang gibutang if 24 ports kay 200 mbps man actual bandwidth on every ports. Hope that helps..
if you had a limited budget i will suggest you go for CISCO Catalyst 500 switch it's less than 30K manageable with QoS and you can do a lot of things. by the way it does not need to be a CNNA to configure this switch.
sorry but i hate the catalyst express gui
