[QUOTE=trex654@yahoo.com;9648631]thanks for information , i just like to know how much the price of your inverter panasonic? what capacity do you require for Panasonic inverter?
As for tips on saving electricity, buy an aircon which is slightly bigger in capacity than the room size intended,
so that the compressor will not be overwork and there is enough capacity during hot summer months, you
will require 50% more capacity during summer months.
As for inverter aircons, manufacturers advertise it saves up to as much as 60% electrical cost, this is true only if you set the temperature setting at 25 (temperature setting of aircon is from 18 to32), there are a lot of users who complain that 25 setting, the aircon will not cool or is not cool enough), so my advise is that
if you are a heavy user of aircon and willing to set at 25, then get an inverter, but if you are one who wants the room real cold, setting at 18 to 20, then just get a non inverter aircon, the reason, inverter aircons cost more than 50% to 80% more than non inverter, depending on model, inverter units uses a variable speed compressor that slows down when the room cools, but if you set the aircon at 18 to 20,
it won't save you much on electrical consumption, plus you should count the cost of repair and maintainance of inverter aircons, the refrigerant R410A is very very much more expensive and the parts are a lot more expensive, and usually in the lifetime of a split type aircon, you will encounter leaks, and as i have mentioned that you should be a heavy user of the aircon, because if you hardly use the aircon, what is there to save
It's just like a car, they advertise their gasoline consumption at 20 kilometers per liter, but when you use
the same car, it comes out only at 6km or 7km per liter, it's because in order to get the 20km per liter,
it was done at a constant speed of 60KPH, windows up, no aircon, but once you don't maintain the speed
and stop and go traffic plus aircon, the 20 km per liter becomes 6km per liter.
