Nice! This is exactly the same phone as Cherry Mobile Superion, Cherry bought the exclusive rights for Philippine distribution. Very good alternative to the Galaxy Tab.

is this true? cherry bought out the rights of viewsonic? (pls clarify sir)

not really sure on the business case but cherry has a model exactly as this one.

what i think is Viewsonic is as well an OEM and might have been supplying Cherry or Cherry has the distributorship of the Vpad 7. either way.

Cherry Mobile's Superion is a twin of the Viewsonic. They are being manufactured by one company in China. Viewsonic is being marketed in Thailand, Taiwan, etc, and other parts of Asia, if im not mistaken. In the Philippines, they are being imported by Cherry. In fact, there is a third twin in India, that is being marketed as the Olive Pad VT100. The looks and specs are all the same..except for the price.
You can buy a BRAND NEW Cherry Mobile in SM for 19K+. It comes with free 4gig memory card, blue tooth headset.

standbytime, never really tested it as i charged it every night. my usage however requires the vpad to have wifi, gps and mobile data ON at all times during the day. when i reached home around 8 to 9pm i still have around 1/4 power.
