we recently had a very bad experience w kaiser. na hospitalyz 1 of d family member. d next day, naay reprsentativ fr kaiser saying "they wont cover d hospitalization xpenses n any amount because wala daw giadvice sa doctor".
    they must be joking!!!
d fact na na admit sya with doctors order, even hav 4 doctors. ivtt meds, complete bedrest without toilet previledges, close monitoring evry 30 mins, dili advisable ma admit? wa jud mi nisugot, i ask him to make a formal written statement saying the company's stand coz wel realy file a case if dli jud mucover, giadto namu ang er, call d doctor na iya giingon na dili daw advisable ipaadmit, and d doctors who made d doctors order. then niaryv ang 1 doctor na niingon daw na dli advisable but never did gimention niya na wala sya giadvice, in less than 1 minute, MAGIC! d representativ say "ITS OK, ITS COVERABLE AND HURRIEDLY EVAPORATE" naglagot ko d way gisulti niya ang news, mura ug dli masakiton iya kaistorya, nagkatawa2 pa jud. unya dli baya epa strain amu pasyente but imagina nalang unsa kalagot inyo ma feel ug kamo naa sa lugar. nangugat jud sa kasuko amu patient. simba ko giatake to siya. arang2 nalang ang caritas ani dli hasol kaau inig admit though ang uban dli e apil ug cover.

They just reimburse your hospital cost but with a limit usually 100k - 500k only.
But if you want money to use incase of Expensive critical illnesses like cancer, stroke, heart attack and other money draining illnesses go for life insurance which usually have Critical Illness Riders and Daily Hospital Income (They pay you lump sum per day like if you where admitted 20 days and you have a Daily Hospital Income Rider of 2k per day, they will give you 20*2k 40k)
They Critial Illness Rider in Life Insurance will give you the Lump Sum amount usually up to 5M regardless of how much you spend for your illness.

I don't have any HMO base on bad experience but I have a lot of Life Insurance Policy in different companies mostly with Investment.

If you Like try my AXA agent (0922) 888-5922 (0917) 320-1478.

They only have Daily Hospital Income. But if you're concern about illnesses. I think they are the best, they have riders that cover all Terminal disease including dengue. And whats more. Most Life insurance Critical Illness Riders are just Accelerated which means that if you have a 5M Death Benefit and 3M Critical Illness Rider and if you are diagnose with any critical disease they give you the 3M advance from your 5M Death Benefit which means when you die you only receive 2M nalang. In AXA its separate, They give you the 3M for your Illnesses Rider and 5M if you die.

Check their fund Performance (Investments Link Insurance) is 20%-30% growth per annum. They are the top insurance company around the world, Google "Top 500 Global Company" They rank 14 in all industry and #1 in Insurance base on fortune 500 magazine. Most company Charge 2% on Premium for Investments, In AXA they charge my 1 Million for just 4,000.00 only and no charge for my additional investment.

Careful with Insurance Agents Read the Proposal carefully. If they won't let you read or bring home the proposal this means they are hiding something.

And for all Investment Link Product, you have 15 days to return it if you change yiour mind, most agent wont tell you this.

If the agent said that they are leading ask for proof.

All life insurance companies offer health plans as well as mandated by the insurance commission. This is in line with life insurances mission to cover and replace income that is lost either through accident, disability, and worse, death. This differs the health plans offered by life insurance companies from HMOs. As mentioned previously, HMOs will cover your hospitalization bills while health plans offered by insurance companies replace income or provide financial assistance.

Why get a health plan from life insurance companies or in other words, health insurance, on top of existing HMO policies?

[1] Health care policies don't cover all medical and hospitalization expenses hence, for severe and critical cases, the client/patient may still end up spending much. Having a health insurance can stretch one's spending/paying power.

[2] Health care policies don't provide daily allowances and replace lost income due to inactivity. That is where health insurance comes in.

Check out what Philam Life has to offer. Philam Life has 3 health plans namely [1] Health 100, [2] Medisave, and [3] Mediguard. Below is the brief description of each.

Health 100 - Provides a comprehensive lifetime health coverage up to 100 years of age. Health 100 provides cash assistance separately for each day of hospitalization, ICU, surgical, critical illness, and outpatient benefits. Health 100 will provide different cash assistance for the first 30 days of confinement and for hospital stays of over 30 days. Examples of critical illnesses are cancer, poliomyelitis, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and cirrhosis of the liver.

Health 100 has health coverage of P1M, P2M, and P3M respectively. People aged 5 to 55 can avail Health 100.

Medisave - Provides a convenient protection plan and has a unique money-back feature. Payment period is only 10 years and coverage can be either P1,000, P2,000, or P3,000 per day. If the insured's hospital confinement will not exceed a total of 365 days after 10 years, the paid will be returned.

People aged 18 to 55 can avail Philam Life's Medisave.

Mediguard - Provides additional medical coverage for hospitalization of over 30 days, additional ICU benefits, and surgical expense reimbursement.

Mediguard provides either of the following: [1] P800/day, [2] P1,000/day, and [3] P1,500/day hospital income. People aged 18 to 64 can avail Philam Life's Mediguard.

*Hospital income is the amount that replaces the regular income due to hospitalization.

I hope that this can provide an information valuable enough to people who aren't aware that life insurance companies offer very good health plans that can help the insured a lot during tough sick times.

Protect yourself now or the soonest. Health care and life insurance plans are things that you can't purchase when you already need it.
