OT: hi!..naa ka cvg nag work?....pwede pa refer?...4 years ago kay nag apply ko diha wala pa ko ato experience..... i failed the final interview...kahilakon kaau ko kay last nalang jud unta....
call center ko nag work karon 1 year kapin na unya nahan ko mo balik apply diha cvg....

balik sa topic....daghan man di kaayo maayo mo eninglis gani dri sa ako gi trabahuan.....confident lang kaayu ang mga hinampak mao mailad ang mag interview cguro...

sa akong part lang pud noh kay nagdako lang ang huna huna, pero ig storya wa na!

no problem sa pronunciation etc., what I mean is during the casual conversation, anha na ko masangit. ma blanko!

had an experience with CVG jud. 2 times ko niapply. gidawat ko nila 1st kato sa banawa pa ang interview and then the 2nd time I applied was in IT park na.

wala ko nidayon ug work pag 1st kay I went onboard na after a week (i'm a deck officer by the way)

i work on callcenters whenever i'm on vacation.

what i usually do on interviews, is I do most of the talking, like share places i've been to and what i did on those places.

and honestly, i don't do "Ameyrechan Aecksents" yet, I got hired and worked there for 5 months lang coz i need to go back onboard again..

simple tips lang sa call center interviews:

sound confident

improve your diction and grammar

don't over do the accent otherwise you'll sound like microsoft sam (just like my co-worker who sits 10 cubicles away and I can still hear her say "eighty and T!" instead of AT&T)

and always think positive (what I usually think about is.. "even if imo ko gi interview karon 10x mas dako pa ako sweldo sa imo kung mosakay ko balik ug barko" ) just to lessen the fear! haha

i think there's a company here in cebu na nangita call center agents para local lang. no need for super english jud. pero you know what, it's better if you improve your English Comm skills. don't think na just because you're not good in English now hangtod dira nlng. show them your potential bro! =)

there's always room for improvement. i agree with all the advices they've shared. if u read, read aloud - just like ur reporting for news, u can even record ur self then listen to ur voice.. it's also necessary to practice ur communication skills - sa convergy's pa - EOP english only policy. u may be often teased a lot or judged by others, but hey it's for ur own good.
