its their fashion, if we find it bad, the di lang nato sundon
No it's definitely not.
Ako, am 29 na. Used to be very simple, halos dili mag make up teenager pa ko and early 20's pero okay lang gihapon kay naa may youthful glow. As we age, it is important to be vain kay natural beauty will fade ug dili atimanon ang lawas. Vanity is a good practice para ig let's say kaminyo, after having kids, presentable lang gihapon. Conscious about her body and looks. So dili malusyang.
There are very many factors that will affect how we look as we grow older. Vain ko sa ako body... especially my abs... after having 2 babies... mag yoga gyud ko 5am and I try not to miss it. I'm vain with my face pud... in fact... i'm prettiest now nga bisan nana koy kids compared to sa una nga simple lang ko and bugoy. Yaw lang pud sobra ka exaggerated ang pagka vain. I wear mascara, eye make-up, concealer around the eyes, blush-on, and lipstick, then that's it. I buy clothes that fit me.
So okay lang mag simple simple bugoy bugoy kung bata pa, pero keep in mind, that age and kids can cause your looks to change very drastically. So try to flex yourself and love yourself more when you age. Most importantly, stay healthy.
taking care of yourself and having a beauty regimen is not vanity.
Agree with N`gel, mao bitaw uban mga husbands mawad-an ug gana sa ilang mga wifey kay saon man dili man mag take care sa ilang kaugalingon makalimot na man once married mo ya`ya` na man samot nuon. Its really very important to care about how you look. I'm 45 i can proudly say i even look better now than when i was younger. I would just emphasize kung unsay positive sa akong features like my face, ingon sila baby face ko kaayo. Puti na ko. I dont need bleaching whitening as you can even notice sa akong mga photos puti gyud. I shy away from lights kay kung naay light mo deflect gyud. I have to find a photo for avatar nga dili kaayo puti, heheheso i wont look so ghostly
but what it really is ...its very important that you feel good about yourself. Your self-esteem.
Every woman should know how to apply and wear makeup. Use sparingly not too much naman. I have to go for eyes and lips. No mascara, no lipliner for me, no blush. I only play on my eyes with eye pencil, lips and brows. The rest na i skip. No time.
I meant vanity being "worthless, trivial (of very little importance of value) pointless". Some people describe it as being too vain... pero it is important to take care of oneself for me.
Taking extra care of your body and looks is not pointless... it's a must. You might not feel the need right now, but eventually you'll have to. Or else dali ra ka matiguwang.
@Stella: gifted diay ka ug skin hap.. ako kay morena man tehehe. The secret to true natural beauty is glowing healthy skin. Mag-unsa ang make-up ug tanang pangarte ug ang panit gauga. Usik-usik lang.
