Edifier no so good. Creative is good. Altec is better. JBL is much better.
Bose is the best of them for sound quality and durability.

A clarification folks. Bose is not a value for money product. For a product category mahal ra kaayo. You're basically paying for the name and you can practically buy a better sound system for the same price range.

Take this example. Ang 2.1 Bose companion costs 16,500 or a Bose Desktop speaker for around 10,000. All of us here can practically name a dozen brands that can give you a third of that price for the same use, in some cases better sound and in ALL cases a better sound system (Logitech's 5.1 system is around 14k-16k). Need I say more?

I personally own a Bose Companion (hinatag ra). I admit buto siya nya nindot gyud ug buto iya sound. Iya resonance sa satellite speaker is also very clear. But I have to agree with a certain review in their own words: "The sound quality is very good but not good enough for me to call it EXCEPTIONAL."

I can practically live without that minor detail. In fact, I sold it and settled for my ATP3.

Kung budget gani edifier....pero kung 2.1 speakers gani i prefer JBL's Creature 2 maoh na ako.a ron and i'm very happy with it...

It really depends on your sound card sad bro kay bisan unsa pana ka nindot imong speakers niya cheap imong sound card then dili gyud kaau nimo ma take advantage ang full potential sa speakers so dili kaau ka maka bantay sa difference sa ana nila....but correct me if i'm wrong hehehe :mrgreen:

i prefer edifier..i hav an altec lansing x2021, pero mas nindut pa ug tingog ako edifier katong M1310...i know nice and popular ang altec lansing as excellent speakers pero kung icompare ang altec x2021 sa ako edifier M1310,layo ra kau ang altec,pero so far mao pa sad ni nga model sa edifier ako masulti na nindut ug sound quality compared sa mga bago na model na naabot..ang creative kay ok lang, di kau nindut,di pud kau bati

Depends on what models you're comparing from both brands..

For the entry level 2.1 (500 - 2k) I prefer Creative SBS 350, Creative Inspire 2500

For the midrange level (2 - 4k budget) I still prefer Logitech Z-640 or the Phillips M Series..

For the Mid-High range level (6 - 8K budget) I prefer Logitech Z-5300

We got a Z-5300 @ nGenuis for 6.8k last march, you could try asking there if naa paba sila stock.. otherwise, manila will be your next option..
