Yes pinoys likes imported. Imported but branded... mu apply sad na to every comodities sold here. what differentiate us/cebuanos comparing to other people from other cities in the philippines is that we are very hard to please especially if what your selling is made by the locals. ang design kay makuha ra nimo sa internet but the design nga maganahan sa market diri..no idea.

its a lucrative business here because cebuanos are becoming aware of jazzing up their cars.my bro is also thinking of getting into this line of business and like you he is doing some feasibility study about it.gud luck to you.

i think fiberglass is no longer a good material

i think plastics are used. most car bumpers now are plastic based

OEM car bumpers are made up of PU plastic material. which means durable siya and for mass production purposes because plastic is more cheaper compared to fiberglass however the molds used for plastic production items is very expensive thats why we use other means of alternative material using fiberglass molds for fiberglass and resin applications. I would not say that fiberglass or FRP is no longer a good material compared to plastic because in reality fiberglass compared to metal in weight holds more strength and more flexible and FRP is corrosion resistant, impact resistant, heat resistant, fire retardant etc. with a good application and knowledge of the types and mixture of chemicals to be used everything should turn out to be perfect.
