yup, go for the 7300 gt bro... i have a 7300gt 256mb 128bit gddr3.. satisfied ko sa iya performance.

between the ddr2 and ddr3, mas kusog jud ang ddr3.

ang core frequency sa ddr2 is only 400 yata and its memory frequency is 800
while the ddr3 has a core frequency of 500 and a memory frequency of 1400
based on the figures, dako kaayo ug lamang ang ddr3 (sa inno3d ni xa nga specs, ambot lang ug lahi ba sa uban)

The 7300 GT card is not based on G72 - a small core of GeForce 7300 GS, but on G73, that is the chip used in the GeForce 7600 series. But its GPU is curtailed from 12 to 8 pixel units. And its vertex units are reduced by one. That is 8 and 4, instead of 12 and 5 in the 7600GT/GS.

geforce 8600GT 256MB DDR3 is better than 7300GT 256MB DDR3 and 7600GT 256MB DDR3..
but if you'll be getting the 7800, 7900 series.. there's far better than 8600GT..

my poor man's gaming rig has 2 Inno3D 7300GT 256mb/128bit DDR3 running in SLI mode...got it for 2k each from TipidPC...core freq @600MHz/mem freq @ 1500MHz...overclock using Rivatuner 2.08...synthetic benchmark 3DMark06 @ 1280x1024 no AA score 5088...more or less same perf as a 7900GT...go for the 7300GT ddr3...saw some at Techead sa SM tag 2700 each...
