Just recently watch the episode 1 of season 2.
McGarret stabbed, wounded and got out of prison and take on Wolfat,
Dano and Chin helped out McGarret in pursuit on Wolfat and take out evidence to clear out McGarret from the killing of the Governor.
McGarret's superior also helped out and reach out one his father's friend taken from one of the stash pictures from that CIA girl.
And lastly, Wolfat strikes again to kill the guy who killed McGarret's father with the aid of the CIA girl. (such a traitor b&*tch),

Just recently marathon the last 4 episodes of Season 2. McGarrett has now captured Wo Fat and revealed who's "Shelburne" in finale where Jo tried to hide & protect from McGarrett. Kono has a relationship with son of Yakuza's head. Massive explosion on HPD, etc. See it for yourself.
Big revelations in next season. Can't wait how Steve/Shelburne interacts and what deeper stories may unfold.
