depende sa hospital. F package deal, barato ra pero f private mahal gyud. more or less 26 hospital lang (private room) wla ny apil ang mga take home nga tambal, like mefenamic acide, vitamins sa mother after birth, etc nga medicine.

akong misis nanganak 2 yrs ago sa chiong hua. total gasto nako mga P25K. apil PF 10K normal. less sa pag-ibig ug sss, nahug murag 10T nalang gasto namo.

kadtung niagi June this yr, nag-misscarraige akong misis, masdako gasto, niabot 30K (raspahan), chiong hau gyapon. hantud karun wa pa gyud mi narefund sa sss, mag 4 months na segi follow up.

giving birth can be a double whammy sa sakit. ang physical at ang financial. if you do not have 100k ready (in case CS ka), then go look at the different packages in the hospitals. cebu doc has no aircon but has individual cubicles. chong hua meron aircon pero apat kayo sa room.

you can never be sure nga normal ka manganak. just be prepared gyud.

ako CS na...trouble pa gyud bb ko. nag neonatalICU mi. huhuhu.

d'monyita...u'r correct!..due ko coming end of december 2k6...i'm really preparing at least 100k kay wa jud ta kabalo sa mahitabo...this is my firstborn so daghan au ko fears...to ease them, better ready ka at least financially...di man sad mau i-risk nato ato life sa cheaper nga service...cheaper is better pero just make sure service is excellent...

sa amo company baya kay naa mi madawat at least 30k 2-3weeks before sa EDC.. sa SSS man na sya nga maternity benefit...then aside from that with pay pa jud ang 2mos na maternity leave..nindot no? at least dili na kaayo bug-at ba...

ako i gave birth last year 2005 did2 ko chong hua NOT package deal.. P23K tanan.. 7K ra ako PF sa OB..
minus philhealth nga 2.5K ra kai normal man mahog jud cya mga P21.5K ra amo tanan gastos.. pasalamat lang ko kai grabe ka buotan ako OB maski bago rami nag ila ila unay barat ora iya pangayo sa ako..

advise lang sad (if ur catholic ) based on experience of me n my friends ..try mu praying the novena of saint(i forgot the name) for expectant mothers.. mapalit na cya sa St. Pauls naa ayala tag P11 ra... IT HELPSS!!!! :mrgreen:

well advice lang nako day do not be scared for anything focus on God and to all ho luvs u like the case sa akong wife shes scared kay first time nya maganak i just told her na otong lang jod ayaw pag inarte or OA hehe to tell you normal ra iya labor nya ang hospital pajed ni refund namo og 95 pesos kay covered man cya sa ilang insurance package deal to iyaha b4 sa maternity kay short sa budget @ dat time dili manka dawaton if dili ka sa ila magpaprenatal daw thrilling bya na basta first time pero sulit man pod labi na og healthy imong baby, karon 2 yrs na kapin among anak nya pwere boyag mosokol na sa pang gobyerno maau kaau manapog hehe good luck
