my advice is if youre not into overclocking, buying an expensive mobo is a waste of money coz its performance difference when in default settings is quite the same with a cheaper mobo.

what do u mean by overclocking is it something about running ur CPU in faster speed?

you trust that msi brand? last time ive heard from that brand is that it tops in pcx... no 1 in rma kay daghan au nanga guba in less than a year even sa ilang hi end. and about the harddrive, for me, nothing beats seagate because of its warranty. you really cant notice any difference in performance with any brand unless its 10k rpm

Seagate was ONCE the best brand for hdds. but over the years they have become one of the most unreliable hdd manufacturers. reviews from newegg support that: seagate 1tb

compare to samsung: spinpoint f3 1tb

With regard to your statement about 10k rpm drive, i assume you're talking about the velociraptors?
The spoinpoint f3 IS FASTER THAT THE 10K RPM RAPTORS IN SOME APPLICATIONS. source: spoinpoint f3 review

Try looking into the other review sites about the f3 kay they all say the same. Even system builder guides nila go for spinpoint f3 for their regular hdds (check toms hardware, bit-tech, tweaktown, etc..)

With regard sa MSI brand, they are improving their quality bay. i think they are better then ASRock and Foxconn. Ang kanang duha murag mas questionable. But i do agree with you if dili siya mag overclock to just get a regular mobo but at least try to get a mobo that can unlock cores. basin maka jackpot diay.

@Dark : wala na ko updated na pricelist pero so ako lang modify gamay ang imo original specs(sakto si powermove, ayaw pag intel if limited budget may price/performance amd para sa imo budget)

i assume d ka tig overclock and d pud heavy gamer ha but naa plans to upgrade soon,
*u can save a bit by lowering processor to AthlonII X2 245/250,
*change motherboard to emaxx 785-fxn(ddd2/ddr3 memory support) but use DD3 modules, this motherboard also has an OK onboard videocard for casual gaming coz of "dedicated 128mb sideport memory"
*SS ST50F-230 is a good psu, but u can still save more by getting the newer ST50F-ES(non-modular) @ 2.6-2.7K. this has Active PFC for that lesser load sa home wirings ninyo and 80plus efficiency. even if its non-modular its not hard to hide those extra cables since this psu only just has enough of them for a regular system.

now save-up and upgrade to a good videocard when u will need it soon... hope this helps

bro aircon imong room??.. kay basn cge nya kag overnyt then kalimot ka ang pc muinit pud bya na..so spend a bit for your cooling system..kay unsaon man sad nmu nindot na specs kung ma fry rah... .. btw for amd procie ni sugest ni sila nko sauna na mag emx 785g na mobo.. then imu vc ok ra man ati 512mb 4500 series mao ni ako gamit ron and nindot na xa..sa ram make it 4gb lng sad para di ka cgeg kalgot kung mu lag.. ug pag athlon na lng bai,,sakto si werty di man sad kaau needed nga mag phenom, dako2 ra nag gasto.. and since gamer jud ka like me pag invest sa imung HD.. mga 1thera cguro para di ka mahutdan ug space.. make sure rjud nga imong cooling system is very ok and imung PSU sad para dli maunsa imung system..

ok raman d aircon ang room, but make sure to monitor imo room temp. diri sa ako average of 32-34deg basta gabii, 36-38 sa afternoon on a hot day so its well adequate to cool my computer. case temp never exceeds 38degC(below 40degC is ideal room temp)...
