Who makes the most reliable laptops? - Techzines.com
i tried asus, acer and compaq-hp
out of the 3 compaq-hp ang di ko ganahan

i'd personally go for a dell.
all are good.. you just have to know to take care of it. the most number of case ( hardware problems ) HP / compaq based on experience.
Any of the 5 brands mentioned will do. And it is important to stick to a known company reason being is that if ever you need service or need a replacement part, most of the big names will have local presence.
At the end of the day though, it's kinda hard to make a general sweeping statement that one laptop company is better than the other due to the fact that these companies don't just make one product. They tend to saturate the market with so many different models ranging from netbooks, to general mainstream, work roadwarriors, high-end gaming, to the most expensive thin and light elite laptop. One company may make terrible entry-level home machines, but actually do well with their more expensive corporate laptops.
So as a consumer, the better questions to ask when buying one would be:
-What is this laptop for?
-What features do I need?
-What form factor? and of course the most important
-What's my budget?
This way you can narrow down your selection
dell for performance
acer for value for money
