yep its a budget thing. I plan to spend 40k max on the PC, no monitor.

the cheapest core i3 I found at PCX was the i3-530 (2.93Ghz , 4mb) selling for 5,770.00

@butitoy: mas nindot jud ang i5-750, no question. pero depende lagi sa budget. For the budget, ang 555 BE is enough for gaming bay.

for me to choose i'll go for Phenom II X2 555 + ATI HD5850 kay para nako ang procie okie ra kaau pang gaming kung i.pair sa HD5850 pero kung dili ka satisfy try to save money para upgrade to 6 cores...

I noticed you didnt mention any hard drive. Here's a good tip: get the samsung spinpoint F3. These are faster (and cheaper!) than caviar blacks. I recently bought four HD103SJ 1TB spinpoint F3 for upcoming builds.

The gtx460 is stated to have a price tag of $200 here in the US, which is around 10k pesos. Very good value card. This is better value compared to the HD5830. The 5850 is still better though but also costs more.
