Wow! Finally a Mazda Miata thread! I would like to invite all Miata owners to check out the autocross races and you will see that the Miata is very well represented. In fact, Team Kartzone, Textar and DGL all have Miatas for the races; proving that it is a very capable and competitive car. Anyone interested in joining the races, please look for Ryan or Kym at Kartzone and ask about the schedules of the races and driving clinics. Perhaps all Miata owners should organize a track day at Kartzone so that we can all enjoy our Miatas by pushing them to the limit at the race track.

Yes, it's me. I think we should also organize a track day. The Kartzone drivers would be more than willing to give tips to anyone who would like to join the autocross races.Very well said! Is this you atty?

Eric told me about that plan before and everybody loved that idea. As of now we have 5 miata owners in MazdaKo Club and we still hope that more will show up. We will discuss that again during our upcoming meeting this Saturday (July 24, 2010) so that we could set a date when to visit Kartzone. Hopefully our numbers would have grown by then.
