Mao bah.. Is it true nga walay cure ang lupus? Gi unsa man sa imo mom pag survive sa lupus? I'm gonna tell my friend about this. Naa paman sad siya sa hospital karon.

wala jud.. my mom is only taking her maintenance meds lang jud.. if ever dili cya mka take bsag 1 tablet lang kay mu appear daun ang symptoms sa lupus.. she has been admitted 4x already due to exacerbation sa disease.. baga na au ang mga mediaction prescription sa asko mum dri kay ako man gi tigom kay kato early months after na diagnose cya kay the doctors kept on changing her medications kay sometimes di man siya kauyon..

Unsa man ni ang Lupus? Unsa ni ka serious nga disease? contagious ba ni siya or what? One of my friend mao ni iya sakit karon. Mao ni ang diagnose sa doctor sa iyaha. search nako sa google but wala jud koy masabtan kay naglutaw ko.

autoimmune disease.. meaning ang body fights its own tissues..
very serious, kay tanan organ systems ma-affected if not treated..
not contagious.. not cureable, but controllable..

a friend of mine nga "suspected of lupus" said nga nindot ra ug prognosis if early on pa ma-diagnose, kay controllable man ang disease with medications.. ang kabati kay if ang kidneys ma-affected na pud.. magsige nalang ug dialysis para ma-sustain ang life sa patient.. gasto kaau..

pwede magpatest ani w/o consulting d doctor usa....? gnahan ta ko magpacheck...ug magpatest for antinuclear antibody panel to know if naa jud ko ani na illness...naa man gud ko hereditary predisposition and i seem to have intermittent joint pains...how much kha ni nga exam?

@ itzurisen: i've read btaw na most of SLE pts develop this characteristic rash... ako wa pako ka notice... but sa una perme ko mag hives.., but intermittent man.,.sahay mwala ra... but kaning ako joint pain sa toes mga 4 yrs na ko nka notice na magbalik2 jud... mtrigger xa if kanang msakit ko like flu... sa toes ra pud..den if mstart ganeh na..dugay jud mwala..it takes weeks or months... sakit e flex ako toes..esp. ug morning when i wake up... den eventually mwala ra pd xa kalit...magduha2x pd ko pcheck kai bcn wala ra ne... =)
