it depends..it's a case to case basis...if you know the guy pretty well like if you've started out as friends first and if you feel that they guy has a wonderful personality and is sincere and truly loves you, then there's no point of letting him wait for long...

for me, with my ex-bf, it took about 5 months before i said "yes" to him but sadly didn't work out with him, we broke up after 1 year and 6 months...

with my present bf, it took me about 2 weeks to say "yes" to him and things have been doing great with us, 2 years and 2 months na mi and growing stronger...

unsay say "yes" when the guy asks, "can you be my girl?" or something like that? ...not a lot of guys really ask that especially when your twenty-something or thirty-something... pero mura na ug "exclusive dating" by then... and when you start going out with someone and there's a mutual understanding that both of you won't be seeing anyone else, then i guess you can call that a sort of "yes" too... and as for how long it should take, don't you tihnk it's such a waste of time (just to test someone)...? Why not just try it? And if it doesn't work, well.. there's always so much more fish in the sea. And it's back to the DATING GAME!
