bitaw, I think the point here is, the MEDIA is not everything anymore when it comes to politics... not even celebrities... if people couldn't go beyond all of these mind controlling, then MANNY VILLAR should have been the definite winner given even before the campaign period started, he has already been fishing for the public's vote (remember Pacman's 24x7, etc...)...

I also understand your concerns with our top 2 presidentiables... abnoy got there at the expense of her mother... we can't do anything about that...

now for erap, if we say he shouldn't be there because his a criminal, how come we let GMA finish her term when she even admitted to cheating her way to where she is now?

dapat lang unta para dili maka dali og panikas or vote buying ang mang kandidato... dapat ang manga taxpayers ra ang maka vote.... in this way. gamay ra ang manga voters so dili unta dako kaau og budget ang ato election. i think mora 50% voters or maybe less are not tax payers.

mao man hinongdan na dali ra kaau ma palit ang manga boto or basta sikat lang botaran na dayon, pero when we say taxpayers lang, sigurado jud ta na mag lisod sila og pamalit sa vote nya dili kay basta sikat lang kay botar dayon.

dili man gyud na mawala pero the fact that most Filipinos realized that MV was spending billions of pesos (asa kaha ni gikan?) just to get the seat is already a good actualization... again, if the media alone could have dictated the outcome, then I doubt any other presidential candidate had the exposure/coverage/impression other than MV.

nindot sad unta ni nga idea pero lo-oy sad tawn ang uban kabos gud nga mao ra ni isa sa mga higayon nga ma-equal tawn sila sa mga adunahan (rich or poor, 1 vote ra gihapon imong mahatag)...

I do understand your case with regards to Manny Villar, but if you really believe that the votes were almost free from any media influence, then you must be daydreaming. Kris Aquino and a truckload of ABS-CBN celebrities (including the station itself) heavily aired and supported the campaign of Noy2x, if you've already forgotten.
