try looking into the Samsung Spinpoint F3, dli ka mag mahay, layu ra ang WD or Seagate. and wif SSD's expect to spend sumffin liek $150 atleast and thats for a 30gig capacity ra.

ah grabee pd nang $150 for 30GB lang every device, naa man jud nang wear and tear.. how it matter, is on the proper handling and care man pd sa pc and the device itself.

^I dun agree wif teh price either but tis not up to me, go any place and tell em youre looking for SSDs you wont find anything cheaper. which is why I dun recommend SSDs... wif teh Samsung Spinpoint F3 on the other hand expect to spend something liek php 4.5k give or take a couple hundred, its the next best thing to SSDs.

i have 3brands ng 1tb

Sg, WD green, Samsung F1

among the three Samsung is the fastest and the "coolest"
SG, WD almost same write speed.

WD Green cheapest.

On SSD if you got money to burn and "need" the speed worth sya to get it as OS, scratch disk.

Atm sa 2tb category i only got 3xWD Greenies (which i can see its write speed sucks) better pa yung F1 na 1tb (but hey its for storage) so its fine.

nice diay na ang samsung f1, kron naka check ko diri sa sanciangko tag 4.1k ra ang 1TB nila..ok ra kung kana ako paliton?? 4.5k ra man jud ako budget ron

^salig lang boss, its only has x2 500gb platters, get the Samsung Spinpoint F3 if you can, mao na update sa F1 ni erick

mga importanting files ako ibutang..dili nako gamiton para sa PC jud nq nga instalan ug OS.

yep bought the f1 at 14k (3yrs++ na ito) then the sg (round 9k) wd (7k)

kung storage lang go for the green (cheapest) ata ngayon.

ako i am waiting for the 3tb (SG)/4tb(hitachi) to come out.
