i suggest you try! it only comes every 2 years.
my tip for you is that dont forget your culinary basics, sometimes the simplest of things will prove to be your savior when the crunch time comes. be flexible with ingredients expect the unexpected and always practice hygiene.
it was a nice experience back when i was still studying in a culinary school. a long time ago hehehe

runner up sa market basket. CGC is the hardest competition in cebu to win especially in market basket.

anyhoo me joining? maybe professionally if i still work in a hotel i can probably join again. you need to work in a hotel or resto for you to join and for them to back you up.

the days and hours of practice takes time and lots of money.
i believe waterfront won the market basket 2 years ago in the professional category but not gold.

as for the student category in market basket CGC never gave any gold for years! standards are very high so dont be surprised if nobody will win or get even silver if the judges find you not worthy of having.
